From Kevin Kimma:  I've known Rose and Al Simmons for just about ten years now, having met both through our Marine Corps League Detachment.  Rose's husband, Al, is a fine Marine and exemplary member of our Detachment and has been supported by Rose ever since I've know them. Al is lucky to have had such a wonderful wife, friend, and companion for so many wonderful years.  Every meeting and event that our Detachment has had was always supported by Rose and Al.  Rose would always volunteer to help out the Detachment and its members whenever and wherever there was a need.  At every meeting, for so many wonderful years, one would always find Al, and sitting next to him, with all her great support, was Rose.  Rose has been a big part of our history, and all that is good, about our Detachment.  I remember that Rose never liked having her picture taken.  Many times I would bring my camera to a meeting or event and snap pictures everywhere.  Whenever Rose saw me she would wave me away.  It was quite charming.  Even so, I found later that many of Rose's pictures ended up in our photo gallery.  Here's a few of Rose, and always by her side...Al.  Semper Fidelis Rose...we miss you,  Kevin
